The festival will be held with SSFF ASIA! Last year the SSFF was recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival for the annual Academy Awards R, and the festival continues to be a hub of short visual content in Japan. This year, the 7th Short Shorts Film Festival will be held with SSFF ASIA, co-organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Between these two film festivals we will screen approximately 90 short films selected from 2,050 submissions from all over the world. Enjoy these shorts...remember, life is short!
