One day, out of work musician Yusuke is taken to a "pink salon." There, he falls in love with Hitomi and winds up in her apartment. He starts to play music for her with her ex-boyfriend's guitar.

Daigo Matsui (1985, Fukuoka), Director of theatrical company 5-jigen, made his feature debut in 2012 with "Afro Tanaka”. He makes unpredictable films, like "Sweat Poolside", "Watashitachi no haa haa", "Wonderful World End" (screened at Berlin International Film Festival) and "Japanese Girls Never Die" (screened at Tokyo International Film Festival & International Film Festival Rotterdam). He also directs music videos with acts like CreepHyp and Ging Nang Boyz. His new feature "Ice Cream and the Sound of Raindrops" will come out in Spring 2018.
