    July 2003 Synchronized swimmer Fumiko Okuno joins the Pacific Voice artist department
    May 2004 The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences adds Short Shorts to their list of official Academy festivals.
    May 2004 Tekkan, Eri Yamazaki and Noato Nojima join the Pacific Voice artist department
    June 2004 The Short Shorts Film Festival tours eight Japan locales with additional screenings in Los Angeles and Rangoon, Myanmar
    June 2004 Re release of the American Short Shorts 1999, 2000, 2001 compilation DVDs by Paramount Home Entertainment
    October 2004 First annual Short Shorts Asia festival launches in Tokyo
    June 2005 Short Shorts Film Festival and Short Shorts Asia combine to one festival
    September 2005 Short Shorts Film Festival Expo 2005 launches at the Aichi Expo Worldfs Fair in collaboration with the Economic Planning Agency

    June 2006 In gShort Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2006,h the special Japan premiere of gThank You for Smokingh, directed Jason Reitman (the Audience Award winner for gIn God We Trusth presented in 2001 festival) was held in presence of Jason and the producer Daniel Dubicki.
    March 2006 Mamoru Kawai (actor) joins the Pacific Voice artist department.
    June 2006 For the incubation of new talents, gTrial Artisth program was launched.
    June 2007 In gShort Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2007.h short films of Wolfgang Petersen and Tom Tykwer were presented. Other featuered short filmmakers include Jennifer Aniston, Takashi Shimizu of gThe Juonh and Eric of the group Shinhwa (Korean Music Program).
    June 2008 The year celebrates the festivalfs 10th anniversary, and gStop! Global Warming Competitionh was founded in corporation with the Ministry of Environment.
    Also, Pacific Voicefs sister company, Visual Voice has launched Brillia Short Shorts Theater in Yokohama. Jason Reitman and producer Dan Dubicki and screenwriter Diabro Cody attended the festival with the special screening of gJuno.h
    The festival also celebrated its first Japanese Grand-Prix winner (Ben Suzuki)
    September 2008 Yoshiko Sugasawa (independent newscaster) joins the Pacific Voice artist department.
    January 2009 Saori Abe(actress) joins the Pacific Voice artist department.
    February 2009 MIKU (mixed martial arts) joins the Pacific Voice artist department.
    July 2009 Yasuhiko Tanaka (screenplay) joins the Pacific Voice artist department.
    August 2009 Head office moves to Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo
