Sohni is in love with a dream that echoes the folktale “Sohni Mahiwal” she heard as a child.
Shaleen Sangha / Shaleen Sangha began writing and directing at the age of nine. She has continued to have a passion for storytelling throughout her life. Shaleen studied film at Humber College where she wrote her award-winning short screenplay "Sohni Sapna (Beautiful Dream)". The screenplay, meant to be her thesis project, caught the attention of Indian actor Jazz Mann who jumped on board to produce and brought with him veteran composer Mychael Danna to do the score. |

Based on true events, “The Battle of Bukit Chandu” follows a platoon of Malay Regiment soldiers in the fiercest confrontation against the Japanese Imperial Forces invading Singapore .
Charles Lee / Charles had been working as a designer for a design house in Singapore for 3 years. After that he went on to pursue a diploma in animation and made 3 animation films. “The Battle of Bukit Chandu” screened at the National Heritage Board of Singapore, and won the Gold Prize for 2D animation at the Crowbar Awards. |

Primprapa Wungpichayasuk / After graduating from the Fine Arts in Silpakorn University , Primprapa has been working on animation, comic books, and illustrations. For film, she has made several short animation pieces. Her 2 minute animation “The Fool Dog” won the Special Jury Award and Payut Prize at Thai Anima 2003, and the Vichitmatra Award at the 7th Thai Short Film and Video Festival. |

Angela How / Angela is a 4th generation Chinese-Singaporean. In her teens, she moved with her family to Australia where she studied architecture. After working as an architect on a number of projects, she switched careers to pursue filmmaking. Her first film, “Eat Rice”, garnered a student grant. To date, it has played in many festivals worldwide. Angela is currently a student in the MFA directing program at UCLA’s School of Theatre , Film and Television where she is working on post production for her 2nd film “Passage”. |

Rocky Jo / A Los Angeles resident, originally from the lone star state, Rocky’s previous works include his short film “Yubiwa” and edited work “Turtle Classic Movies” have been showcased in film festivals all over the United States. He has worked on a variety of projects at various stages for the NFL, NBA, VH1, and MTV. In 2005 he signed with the post production division of the Los Angeles film and commercial production studio Hornet Inc. |
