“Be Very Quiet” is the story of Thana , a young man who witnessed the rape and murder of his prostitute mother when he was a child.
Mona Nahm / Nahm was born in Bangkok , Thailand in 1973. Later she immigrated to the United States with her family, but life was tough. Nahm had to quit high school to take care of her sick mother and younger sister. Fate played a roll when a major television producer came to the restaurant she was working in and offered her a job in the film industry back in Thailand . After 6 years, at the age of 26, Nahm decided to return to the United States . She enrolled in school to study filmmaking to expand her career. |

His work has won awards at the Singapore Creative Circle Awards, the New York Clio Awards and were finalists at the prestigious London Design and Art Direction and Cannes Lion Awards. “The Bus” is his first narrative short film. |

It was also selected to open the Locarno International Film Festival. He was also handpicked by Walter Salles (“Motorcycle Diaries”) to shoot a short film. |

Eighteen-year-old Suin lives and works alone in a copy shop. One day, a woman comes to photocopy a bill of complaint with snapshots showing her bruises from physical battery.
Gyuoak Cho / Born in 1973, he received his Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications at Sogang University . He then earned his MFA in directing from the department of filmmaking at the Korea National University of Arts. Cho started filmmaking in 1997, and since 2000 has written and directed three screenplays. “Fingerprint” screened at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival competition and the Pusan International Film Festival in 2004. That same year, it won the Gran Prix at the Daegu Independent Short Film Festival in Korea. |
