Maya Gouby / Maya was born in Kabul , Afghanistan but attended school in Belgium . At the age of 12 she emigrated to India , finally returning to Belgium to study at the Royal Academy of Modern Arts School in Gent. In 2004 she received her master’s degree in animation, finishing her school career with the film “Food”. |

Ronan and Rob Burke / Ronan and Rob Burke are graduates of the Dublin Institute of Technology’s prestigious film department, which has fostered many of Ireland’s premier filmmakers. Both have made award-winning shorts, most notably “Moving Day” and “Smalltalk”, which won the 2002 Jameson Award for best student short. Although they have collaborated on many crazy ideas since childhood, “Jellybaby” is their first short as co-directors. |

He wrote, directed and produced his first short film, “The Statue”, in 2003. “Live From Death Row” was completed in 2005 and stars MC Solaar and Lambert Wilson. Alexis is now preparing for his first feature film. |

Dan Turner / Born and raised in Manchester , England , Dan Turner specialised in video production at Bradford University , which offered him the chance to make his first short films.He has since been working in the film and television industry, gaining valuable experience in many aspects of film production, whilst writing, developing and directing short films under the Damyan Filmworks name started with producer Amy Thornton.These include “4:37” (2003) and most recently, “Connecting” (2004), both receiving screenings at many national and international film festivals. |

Lucy Lee / Lucy has been making animated films since the age of 14 using toys, plants and a super 8 camera. She enrolled in the Newport Film School to study animation and made two 16mm films. She moved on to the National Film and TV School in 1994 and made 3 35mm films, one while living in Russia . She now works digitally making interactive content and short animations. Her work has won many awards all over the world. |

Per Hanefjord /Per Hanefjord was born 1978 in Lycksele in the north of Sweden . He started early as an artist and went on to filmmaking due to his passion for storytelling and photography. Per has been recognised for his loving interest in common people and visual storytelling. He graduated from Kalix Film School in 2002. His graduation film “Kids Play Outside” has been a worldwide festival success. Per lives in Stockholm and is currently working on his first feature film project. |

A personal look at a fifteen year old boy's coming of age and realization that life will never be on the same level again.
PJ Hogan / P.J. Hogan got his start in filmmaking at the Australia Film Radio and Television School where he made the short “Getting Wet” in 1984. His fist feature, “The Humpty Dumpty Man” was released in 1986. Since then he has written extensively for television and helped launch a new era in Australian filmmaking with the 1994 international hit “Muriel’s Wedding” which launched the career of Toni Collette. In 1997 he directed Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz in “My Best Friend’s Wedding”. His most recent film was 2003’s “Peter Pan”. |
