Maria Lappalainen/20:40/Drama/Finland/2005
Milja and her mother are happily living together in rural Finland , when her father arrives. Milja tries to find her own way out of this situation.
Maria Lappalainen / Maria Lappalainen graduated with a Master of Arts in film direction from the Russian State Institute of Cinematography (VGIK), where she studied in Nana Dzordzadze and Irakli Kvirikadze’s master class.   Maria has directed two short films and one 60 minute documentary.

Bob hates hiccups. Bob has hiccups. Will Bob get rid of the hiccups or will the hiccups get rid of Bob?
Nick Reed / Nick trained and worked as an actor, then went on to write and direct theatre, setting up his own venue The Park.. As a writer, his credits include lots of television for the BBC as well as scripts for several computer games.  Nick has made three short films and is currently in development on his feature film "Rita's Friends".

It's dawn in Mexico City , a man hires a cab for one day.
Matís Meyer / Mattia Meyer was born in Perpignan , France in 1979 and has been living in Mexico City since 1987.  Meyer has twice studied film and theory in Paris , but for the last few years has been a full time directing student at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCCC) in Mexico City , where he will graduate in 2006.  Meyer recently worked on the feature “Carnaval de Sodoma” and in 2004 his short film “El Pasajero” won the first prize at the Morelia Film Festival. 

Palika Brings Down the Trashcan (Palika leviszi a szemetet)

Palika meets all of his neighbors while taking the trash out one night. Everything seems so normal, yet so strange at the same time. Then the Japanese come!
 Károly Ujj Mészáros / Karoly Ujj Meszaros has worked in film production for over 15 years.  After a couple years as a PA, runner and unit manager, Kaoly began producing commercials, then directing them.  While building his skills and resume, he attended university and graduated with a degree in Film Production.  His 2003 short film “Rubberman” was popular all over the world.  He recently completed a 5 minute experimental short film title “Them”.

After an error occurs, a computer battle erupts between characters within a 3D program.
Justin Henton / Justin Henton is a graduating student in animation from the Emily Carr Institute of Vancouver.  Since a young age he has been fascinated by illustration and comic books.  He has always been captivated by visual effects and stories of the fantastic.  His love of art and computers led him to Emily Carr’s animation program where he gravitated toward 3D animation.

An old and crummy vaudeville show is struggling to survive.  The star's son drives in from the city with a great idea to hire a new act to heat things up!
Phillip Noyce /Phillip Noyce made his first film when he was 17 years old before enrolling in the Australia Film Radio and Television School where he directed “That’s Showbiz” in 1973.  His extensive career has seen him direct for film and television in the USA and Australia . His groundbreaking 1989 thriller “Dead Calm” saw Nicole Kidman’s career skyrocket.  Noyce has since directed numerous stars including Harrison Ford, Sharon Stone, Val Kilmer, Kenneth Brannagh, Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In 2002 he returned to Australia to direct the extraordinary “Rabbit-Proof Fence” which took many prestigious awards worldwide.
