Simon has to drive his old aunt Mala and two of her friends to the seaside. While driving, he gets a call from his girlfriend, Alice. She's not happy.
Micha WALD / Micha Wald got an early start in film as a child actor in a feature films. He got serious about filmmaking by studying script editing at the Belgium National Film School and then studied cinema at the University of Liberty of Brussles. He has made three fictional short films and a documentary on Boris Lehman, and has also written three feature scripts. He likes James Cameron and Japanese food.

Bálint Kenyeres / Bálint studied philosophy, film history and theory at the ELTE University in Budapest . In 2005 he graduated with a degree in film directing from the Hungarian Academy of Film and Drama. His short film “Closing Time” was in competition at more than thirty film festivals, including the Venice International Film Festival, and won a dozen awards. “Before Dawn” was is in competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Currently he is developing his first feature. |

Ugo Sanz / Ugo lives in Madrid where he combines his film work with his secondary school teaching job. He studied film directing for two years at the Instituto del Cine in Madrid and directed “El Moroso” in 2003 and “Compenetracio” in 2004. Ugo is now preparing his fourth short movie as a screenwriter and director. |

“A Buck's Worth” is a stop motion film which depicts, frame by frame, an unusual encounter between two unhappy men.
Tatia Rosenthal / Jerusalem grown Tatia embarked on her dream of becoming a filmmaker after serving in the IDF and attending 1.3 (bad) semester(s) of medical school, and one (good) year of studying photography in Paris. She moved to NY to attend NYU's film school and directed "Crazy Glue" which won numerous awards. A Buck's Worth, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, is the opening scene of "$9.99”—Tatia’s feature animation film project.

Leon Ford / Leon has worked as an actor for the past 9 years. In 2003 he played the title role in the Bell Shakespeare Company production of Hamlet at the Sydney Opera House. He has also had lead roles in a number of films and TV series. “The Mechanicals”, which he thought up while taking a noisy shower one day, is Leon’s directorial debut.
