This years Asia International & Japan Program is a lavish line up to leave you speechless.

ASIA International Competition

The Asia International Competition features 18 films selected from an impressive 10 countries. Though we receive a large number of submissions from South Korea and Iran every year, this is not all. This year we’re screening films from South East Asian countries such as Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand. Please enjoy the hugely varied culture of each of these distinct Asian countries.

Japan Competition

We’ll screen 17 films is this year’s Japan Competition. From dramatic movies that convey a powerful message, to films that make a short and concise point, this year we’ve created a line up that allows you to feel the underlying strength of Japan.
