Rain started hitting hard here in Yokohama, but wonderful guests arrived for the Music Shorts program!

Dir. Tsuyoshi Nakakuki commented on how he came about the idea of "SETSUGEKKA". Since the artist SHONANNOKAZE, each member has its own characteristics and also their song is consisted of several parts, so to fit to that structure, dir. Nakakuki and producer Nishibori decided to create three love stories of different generations.
Mr. Matsuda, one of the casts, played a role of husband who is hesitant to express his love to his wife. Mr. Matsuda is a Japanese commedian who has not acted much before and thought that it was a mistake that he was casted in this piece. He was told by his manager that he would not have any dialogues whatsoever with a minimum acting, but found out on the day of shooting that he needed to act and had quite a lot of lines to say. So, he ended up secretly practicing his part in the bathroom whenever he found a time during the shoot.
At the end, all the staff praised his actings, so he again thought that it was some kind of staged show and someone would come out and say that he had been tricked. Now it is shown at Short Shorts and all the things are coming through, so he started realizing that it is "real".
"We are Not Band! The Movie"
Dir. Yuki Yamato just graduated from university and this film was her first promotional piece. The producer of this film saw her previous work and offered her to make a music video for the idol unit "BANDO JA NAIMON!".
Kacchan and Misako remembered that the entire process of making this film was fun and lively for them, and dir. Yamato was also unique and strange in a good way. Dir. Yamato just finished a feature film and the film will go on the festival circuit soon.
