Brillia Short Shorts Teater: Music Shorts - B Program
For this program, guests from the film "usagi" attended the screening; director Kazuyuki Masuda, and actress Minami Ohba, and assistant director,Mr. Ichiki.
The film is about bitter-sweet one-way love story of a university student and the story is perfectlly matched with the sensitive song 'tiny pride' by
clummbon. 'Punity' is the feeling audiences remembered with this film but
Ms.Ohba who played leading role, said "I, myself am far diffrent from the
girl in the film and it was't wasy to play the role. "
"usagi" was mostly shot within one day by the two crew members; director and the assistant director. One time the director was almost crushed with a passenger while he was shooting on his bicylce. The audicens seemed to enjoy these unexpected backstage stories.
"There was not much difference between regular film and music short film," the director Masuda said. He has directed about 10 short films in the past and Ms.Ohba starred in one of his works.
Mr.Ichiki will be soon on the production of his new short fim next month and his plan is to come back to SSFF & ASIA with it. We look so much forward to welcoming him and his team for the festival in 2014!!
