世界を感じる！6月21日横浜ブリリアショートショートシアター レポート！

Today’s first program was Southeast Asia program.
After screening the five films, such as
Thailand,Vietnam, Myanmar,etc…
Lamin Oo director came to the stage as our guest.
He told us about the current Southeast Asian situation
and about the short film.
One of the problems that Oo Director thinks about was
the education problem in Myanmar.
As you see which were drawed on the film “To School”.
In addition, until 2011 They couldn’t been allowed to take a films
by the government.
Since then, freely now ,the future of Short films in Myanmar is
interesting and bright.
Although the media of other countries often pick up
the past dark history and negative topics.
In fact, it is not only that.
Truth of Myanmar, including joy and relationship to live and
many young directors also start moving with a project
taking films.
There is more and more Films coming up in Myanmar short film industry!
Next program was International Competition 3.
It’s the official audience vote.
All 5 works screened with the drama genre.
Intended to be and way of expressing was very unique!
I’m sure that everyone was hardly decide which films to vote！
Followed by Cannes program.
As you know great selections from the 3 World’s largest film festival.
6 films including “TIMECODE” ,
which is the 2016 Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or (short film).
These were the films that can not be seen usually,
so lots of people were having fun on each films.
Today’s last program was “Future City Yokohama”.
10 works that you could able to feel and
recognize the Keyword of future and dreams .
CG, animation, landscape, reationship between humans ,,,
every day and this moments will lead to the next future.
There was a unique & several clues hiding in each films.

There is also limited Collaboration popcorn with KuKuRuZa
that you can only taste on this festival!
