The program for today started from
War and the Power to Live Program supported by the Red Cross – 2.
Including “Day One” of the 2016 Academy Award short live-action nominated work.
All 5 films are great variation and genre of work.
Drama , comedy, animation.
Now, the fight is going somewhere, even at this time.
Hope lot of people receive the message of each directors
along with everyone.
Followed by the Academy program.
Many fans were enjoying the many masterpieces at the theater.
Among them, the Winner of 2016 Academy Award Best short Film (animation)
“Bear Story” is an old,melancholy bears
talking about his life story through a diorama.
which films was your favorite or interested in this Academy Program?
The third program was from Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Selected Taiwan’s new wave fromKaohsiung Film Festival.
Rochella Wang Kaohsiung Film Festival programmers and
Kek-Huat-Lau director of “Nia’s Door.” as the guest.
Film close-up the country’s problem, and also
can you belive that except one person,
all the actors are not Pro!They are Amateur!
so,there was a script but to be more natural
the words and phrases are all free
and used what they wants to say.
Maybe you can call it a half-documentary films.
Since the Kaohsiung Film Festival will be held in October this year,
Wang said that she would like to come to Taiwan to a lot of people. By the way, the most popular category is
fantasy in Kaohsiung Film Festival.
Works of Japan also was quite popular also
. For those who first saw the films from Kaohsiung Film Festival
How was your impression from the films?
Today’s last program was International 2.
Emilia Zielonka director from “TENDERNESS”.
This work was on the difficult theme ,actually her
Movie that was made in the graduation project.
She liked once when she read the screenplay while in school.
was no candidate other than this for the title?
Emilia said TENDERNESS is the best word…
Or maybe SENSITIVE?
Seems that she got lot of inspriation while in Japan,
we’ll be looking forward to see all again!
