Miguel de Olaso and Bruno Zacarias, a.k.a. Mac & Zac, are a directing team from Spain. They function like one director with two brains and one mouth. Mac is a former DP and post-production supervisor, and Zac is a recovering advertising copywriter who segued into screenwriting. Their work has been described by their mothers as “sleek, beautifully cinematic and filled with deliciously gorgeous lighting.” Their shorts have been placed high in various international competitions, earning over fifty awards.
