The arrival of drones marks a major evolutionary moment in the creative media industry. Filmmakers now potentially have access to film locations otherwise impossible to reach, the flexibility to shoot at unlimited angles, and so much more. DJI is the world’s leading drone manufacturer, and their developments are actively shaping the future of the creative media landscape. In this seminar, we’ll be exploring the best ways to utilize drone technology, accompanied by an extraordinary demonstration that highlights the kind of creativity enabled thus far. This is a must-attend event for aspiring creative professionals.

呉 韜(ご とう)

CEO of DJI JAPAN CORPORATION
In 2013, 呉 韜established DJI JAPAN and built the DJI brand, where he successfully integrated general business, business development and research. He has expanded his projects into consumer markets as well as various other categories. Additionally, he has participated in exhibitions and seminars including the International Drone Show. He graduated from a Japanese university and has experiences in working with enterprises in Japan.
In March 2006, he graduated from Department of Robotics, Ritsumeikan University.
In March 2008, he graduated from Graduate School of Science and Engineering.
In April 2008, he joined the technical headquarters of OMRON Corporation.
In August 2013, he established DJI JAPAN CORPORATION and became its CEO.

Yoshiharu Nakamura

DJI JAPAN CORPORATION / Pilot
After the Great East Japan earthquake in 2011, Yoshiharu was determined to rebuild and help his hometown in Shizuoka. He then started a business that focused on operating multicopters. He receives offers from TV stations, advertising agencies, municipalities and surveying companies, and he works on projects where he shoots from high levels. In 2015, he joined DJI, where he is currently engaged in the marketing activity for promoting safety with drones. He is currently a drone pilot representative of Japan.

Festival Ambassador
LiLiCo was born in Stockholm, Sweden, to a Swedish father and Japanese mother.
In 1989, at the age of 18, LiLiCo came to Japan and began working in the entertainment industry. She now appears as a film commentator on TBS’s ‘King’s Brunch,’ MCs film and fashion events, and makes numerous appearances on talk shows and radio programs.
She is also active in many other fields, and provided the Japanese voiceover for a key character in “South Park.”

Tetsuya Bessho

Actor / President of Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia
Tetsuya Bessho debuted in Hollywood in 1990 with the US-Japan film “Solar Crisis.” Since then he has performed in stage productions such as “Les Miserables,” “Nine the Musical,” and “Urinetown.” He founded Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in 1999, which he remains the president of, and received an award from the chief of the Agency for Cultural Affairs. Furthermore, in 2010 he was recipient of the Iwatani Tokiko Award Encouragement Prize from the Iwatani Tokiko Foundation. Meanwhile, he assumed the position of “Visit Japan Ambassador,” part of a Japan Tourism Agency initiative, and is currently also a member of the expert panel to strengthen content at the Cabinet Secretariat’ s Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters, a Goodwill Ambassador to the Qatar Friendship Fund, a City of Yokohama Committee Member, and an EIRN (film classification and rating committee) Commission Councilor. In recent years he has also been appointed as a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan “Japan House” Expert Advisory Council, and as an individual in charge of promotion for “Japan” overseas on behalf of the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan. He is a Tokyo Brand Ambassador, Recipient of the 63rd Yokohama Culture Award, and in 2015 became a “Native” Ambassador of Shimada City.

Sota Toshiyoshi

“WIRED” Japanese Deputy Editor
Born in 1979, from Miyazaki prefecture
After graduating from Waseda University, Sota worked as an editor for magazines relating to goods as well as magazines relating to life styles.
In 2009, he helped establish the branding web site, “XBRAND by Yahoo JAPAN”. He has been the “WIRED” Japanese Deputy Editor since April 2014.
