It is 1968 and Marianne is nineteen years old. She has been sent to a home for young girls, far from her family and friends. Here she meets other girls whose secrets have turned their lives upside down.

Julie Gourdain was born in Paris in 1986. She studied film theory at L’Université Paris VII, spent a year abroad as an exchange student at Wesleyan University (CT), USA, followed by a Master’s degree in film direction at ECAL/HEAD in Lausanne, Switzerland. On completion of her studies she helped found the company StudioFly.
