Pascal Obispo was born in Bergerac, France in 1965 and is a well-known French singer-songwriter. Spanning a career of 25 years selling millions of discs, he has also written songs for some of the biggest names both in and out of France.
Passionate about photography and movies since his youth, he decided to be behind the camera. The film "D'un Ave Maria" was inspired by Yukio Mishima's "Death in Midsummer" and by the images of so many immigrants who lost lives by drowning in the Atlantic ocean. He was so moved from these images, Obispo thought it wouldn’t be enough to just make it as a clip, but should be made into a short film.
