Born in Sverdlovsk, Russia, Natalia graduated from Ural State Academy of Architecture and Art, majoring in graphics and animation. She worked as animator, character designer and artist on several animated films including "Snowflake" which was her debut as a director. Since then she has studied further and directed multiple films.
