There are still wars in some corners nowadays. It’s a story of a boy living in the post-war zone. Only he can see the thin steel wire surrounding the city. Not until witnessing people accidently touching these wires causing their legs to be broken, has he recalled the painful memory and shadow of wars.
Juan Ting Jian
This is his first attempt at animation, whose theme is the heaviness of wars. Through the child perspective of living in the post-war zone, the wire is the reification fear. In the light of the current international tension, the film is intended to urge the public to face the impact of wars.
