Xavier Tera
Xavier Tera (b. 1992) is a filmmaker and visual artist from Montreal, Canada, whose work explores themes of identity and grief, deeply influenced by his French Canadian heritage, but it was his move to Japan at 22 that truly solidified his creative voice. Navigating both the commercial and artistic spheres, Tera has collaborated with renowned artists such as Rosal?a, Kaytranada, and Harry Styles, as well as global brands like Nike, Moncler, Adidas, and Dior. His photography was featured in a 2024 group exhibition at the McCord Stewart Museum, celebrating emerging and established Canadian photography talent. Xavier Tera's distinctive vision bridges personal narrative with universal emotion, making him a rising voice in contemporary visual storytelling.
