【REPORT】Screening at a temple!? SSFF & ASIA 2017 in FUKUOKA 9/18.
SSFF & ASIA screened four popular programs at JR Kyusyu Hall at Hakata station in Fukuoka on September 18th, 2017. The programs screened included Cinema Fighters, which consists of 6 short films inspired by songs of LDH musicians, the Academy Award® Program, Focus on Japan Program and Award Winning B Program, which includes the film “The Great Legacy” directed by famous Korean actor Keun-suk Jang.
The red carpet led the audience from the entrance to the screening hall. The audience could enjoy looking at the posters and big tapestry exhibited along the carpet.
The audience could also take pictures at the photo booth in front of the screening hall.
The “Cinema Fighters Program,” which screened twice that day, was the most popular program with about 600 audience members per screening enjoying the films.
After the screening, some audience members could get cookies from the famous chocolatier ‘Chocolate Shop’ which is originally from Fukuoka, and which now has a branch in Paris.
There was also a screening of the Love Romance Program at the Chinkokuji Temple in Munakata City. The audience enjoyed the short films as well as the very religious atmosphere.
