Opening Event of Nara International Film Festival!
On September 17th, SSFF joins the opening event of Nara International Film Festival!
This festival, has started from 2010, is now celebrating their forth edition, with the executive producer, Naomi Kawase. This year, it is held at seven venues throughout Nara City.
Opening ceremony is held with many attendances from all over the world. On the red carpet, many audience is waiting their arrival.
This year, SSFF & ASIA joins this festival, as a partner of a event, “Road to Cannes.” Invited 12 young filmmakers, and Kawase, Koji Fukada, the director of ”Harmonium”, which is winner of of Cannes’ Un certain regard this year, and Tetsuya Bessho, the president of SSFF & ASIA, will discuss with them about the possibility of Japanese film.
In the opening ceremony, the line-up of the festival was unveiled, along with the world premiere screening of “The Wolves of the East,” with the apperance of main casts including Tatsuya Fuji.
