New event video for “Rainbow Books & Films 〜 LGBT past, present, future 〜” now online!
BOOK SHORTS, one of the projects organized by international short film festival Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, hosted a tie-up event with Tokyo International Literary Festival 2016 on Saturday 5th March, 2016. Titled“Rainbow Books & Films 〜 LGBT past, present, future 〜”, the event aimed to promote understanding of what “LGBT” is through looking at moving images and literature.
The past, present and future of “LGBT” was discussed from three perspectives – the perspective of the novels, of films, and of politics
