3rd Ibaraki Short Film Award – Call for Submissions – 1,000,000 JPY Prize
Screen tourism promotes Ibaraki Prefecture and draws visitors from throughout Japan and further afield by conveying the attractions of the region – the scenery, culture, cuisine – through the medium of film. With this is mind, short films that depict the abundant charms of Ibaraki are now being solicited for the 3rd Ibaraki Short Film Award. The Call for Entries opened on 1st August, 2015 and the deadline will be 31st January, 2016 (postmarked).
In addition to screening at the 2016 edition of the Academy Awards® accredited Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, nominated films will also be shown at various Prefectural and city events and facilities, including libraries.
Furthermore, there is also the chance to submit a double entry, and be nominated in the SSFF & ASIA 2016 Japan Competition too! For those interested, please be sure to keep an eye on the fast approaching deadline.
