[Report] CINEMA MUSEUM – Special Fall Screening Event – Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Day 3
It may have been rainy from start to finish today, but inside the hall at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum you couldn’t tell! Despite the rain we had an excellent turnout for “Cinema Museum – Special Fall Screenings -” and even welcomed back some familiar faces from earlier in the week that were keen to catch additional programs. Happy to keep warm and cozy inside, many visitors also stayed to watch two or three programs in a row!
We had the pleasure of welcoming a large group of school students to the “Audience Choice Short Film Program” this afternoon. For many of them it was their very first short film experience, yet they were lucky enough to catch films such as “Gotham Jumble Parfait,” a work that receiving an Audience Award at SSFF & ASIA 2015.
In the run up to the excitement of the Tabimoja event on Sunday, today we have given away numerous free stickers featuring mascot characters such as Moja, Mican and Shima-nekko. If you are into these cute and cuddly friends, then you really cannot miss the chance to meet them in person (*please note that this event will be conducted in Japanese only).
With tomorrow being the penultimate day of this screening event it will be your last chance to catch programs such as “Asia & Japan Short Film Program,” “Jury Choice Short Film Program” and “Academy Award® & Cannes Film Festival Award-Winning Short Film Program.”
