We are announcing the winners for this second edition; out of a total&nbsp;<strong>1,126 submissions, (885 Japan \/ 241 overseas), 3 projects (2 from Japan and 1 from overseas)<\/strong>&nbsp;were selected after document screening and multiple interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Award-winning Pitches<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u300e\u30a8\u30f3\u30d1\u30b7\u30fc\u306e\u5cb8\u8fba\u300f\u77f3\u5ddd\u6cf0\u5730\uff08Taichi Ishikawa\uff09<br>\u300e\u671d\u306e\u3068\u304d\u300f\u53e4\u5c71\u4fca\u8f14\uff08Shunsuke Koyama\uff09<br>\u300eLittle Pains\u300fMilda Baginskaite<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Submissions are in order of application<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kodansha Cinema Creators\u2019 Lab will award a prize of 10 million yen for each winning project and will begin production on the short films with completion due by the end of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we will introduce the award winners as well as the winning pitches at the Short Shorts Film Festival &amp; Asia (SSFF &amp; ASIA) 2024 Opening Ceremony to be held in June this year.&nbsp;<br><br>We will begin accepting pitch submissions for the third edition on August 1st this year as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":15195,"parent":0,"template":"","e_news_cat":[550,641,549],"class_list":["post-15194","news_en","type-news_en","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","e_news_cat-creators","e_news_cat-filmfestival","e_news_cat-project"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/shortshorts.org\/content\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news_en\/15194","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/shortshorts.org\/content\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news_en"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/shortshorts.org\/content\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news_en"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/shortshorts.org\/content\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/15195"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/shortshorts.org\/content\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=15194"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"e_news_cat","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/shortshorts.org\/content\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/e_news_cat?post=15194"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
