He has appeared in many films and TV dramas, and has gained wide recognition in Japan. Recently, he took part in some impressive works including \u201cAi to Makoto\u201d (Taksshi Miike 2012), \u201cThe Ninja War of TORAKAGE\u201d (Yoshihiro Nishimur, 2015), \u201cMubansou\u201d(Hitoshi Yazaki 2016) and \u201cKoudai Ke no Hitobito\u201d (Masato Hijikata, June 2016). He is known to be a huge fan of cinema, as he also writes for the magazine \u201cEiga Hihou\u201d. He has appeared on WOWOW and also on \u201cEiga Koubou\u201d as a navigator. More recently, he has involved himself in filmmaking. His work titled \u201chalf &amp; half\u201d was nominated in the 2015 International Emmy Awards for the category \u201cDigital Program: Fiction\u201d.
