A visual creator support project "Kodansha Cinema Creators’ Lab" began accepting submissions in August 2024. For this third edition we received 1,013 pitch submission from Japan and abroad (590 in Japan / 423 overseas) during the four-month submission period which ended on November 30th.
We are proud to announce the three award-winning pitch projects for the third edition, which was decided after document screenings and interviews!

The award-winning pitches will be produced by Kodansha's editors who will be the film’s producers. The short films will go into production with completion due by the end of 2025.
The winners and details will be announced at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2025 (SSFF & ASIA 2025) Award Ceremony to be held in June 2025.
