Profile

Actor and comedian Yuichi Kimura has acted in a number of mainstream Japanese productions, including Shimotsuma Monogatari (released in U.S. as Kamikaze Girls). Kimura won the Newcomer Award at the 16th Tokyo Sports Film Festival for his role in the film Sway, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival. He has also sat in the director's chair, with three directing credits under his belt. He is now currently supervising the smartphone app Owarai Life which focuses on short films. Kimura is active in many fields, having authored cookbooks on top of his regular work as an entertainer on numerous TV programs.

Jang Keun-suk

Born in 1987, Jang Keun-suk is a popular young South Korean actor in both his home country and Japan. His starring roles include one of the leads of the Korean drama You're Beautiful and the film You're My Pet, among many others. Alongside his acting career, Jang studies film making at Hanyang University. As a student, Jang directed two short films in addition to starring in the short film Is This Sort of Life Any Good? (translation of tentative Japanese title), where he also served as scriptwriter, director, and editor.

While on campus, Jang spotted a poster for a film festival and decided to enter the competition. Working together with upperclassmen from his university, the group completed work on their film entry in one week. With Jang not only starring, but also taking on script writing, directing, and editing duties, he spent 13 hours in the editing room himself putting together the final cut.
