This competition called out for vertical short films from all over the world. The competition was established with the support of SHOWROOM Co., Ltd., the company that created the vertical theater app "smash." with the aim of expanding the possibilities of vertical and short films in filmmaking and to increase the creation of new content. More than 100 vertical shorts were submitted regardless of this new being a brand new format that is "vertical." Selected works from the submissions will be screened on "smash." starting on June 1, 2021.
