Rio, half American half Japanese girl who loves the Japanese fairy tale, “Moon Rabbit”, visits her grandparents with her mother and brother. She enjoys Japanese tradition and culture but at the same time, she struggles with communicating in Japanese. When going into the secret storage room with her brother and cousin, she finds out something shocking.
Kae Ho was born in Japan and grew up in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Her debut short Moon Rabbit was screened in festivals such as SSFF&ASIA 2019,
Kerry International Film Festival (Ireland) and Norwich Film Festival (UK).
The Supermission is her second short film.
Currently, she is working on a feature script based on a geisha in modern times.
