A movie theater in Kitakyushu City. Projectionist Kenichi is forced to close his cinema due to the COVID-19 pandemic and falls into depression, causing his wife Yoshie to worry. One day, Kenichi decides to take a positive step forward.

Katsuya Honda
Honda was born in Kumamoto Prefecture on February 3, 1972. He currently works for a production company in Fukuoka, and has been involved in many films, TV dramas, and TV commercials as a producer. Kitakyushu, the City of Movies marks his directorial debut.
