Koei Taga graduated from New York Film Academy. His graduation work "100 Planes" received Honorable Mention at One Reeler Short Film Competition. As he works as a freelance assistant director for commercials and films, he directs commercials, short films, and music videos. Taga wrote the script, directed, and edited a web movie for Life and Birth Studies Association " Teens' Empowerment Project" which won a New Face Awards at 2019 Tokyo Copywiters Club Award.
