Marlies Smeenge
Marlies Smeenge studied at the Netherlands Film Academy. Her films are characterized by their high empathic content combined with a subtle comic and light tone. She graduated in 2019 with the slightly comical, observational documentary Heaven Awaits (2019). The Ballet of Service (2020) is her latest documentary.
