Born in Kagoshima. Self-studied Mandarin and English. After graduating from high school, Takuro managed to enroll in Beijing Film Academy's Department of Directing as the only Japanese student, which is a 0.25% probability. He's especially good at scriptwriting, editing, and music. He has written over 20 original scripts and over 50 songs. Directed and written by Takuro himself, Hoshi no Oto (Sound of the Stars) won the Best Award under the student category at the British Independent Film Awards in December of 2020. He also won the Best Award at the Around International Film Festival (ARFF) Amsterdam under the student category in January of 2021.
