[Report] SSFF & ASIA at Japan Contents Showcase (TIFFCOM) 2015!
The Japan Contents Showcase, comprised of TIFFCOM, TIMM and TIAF, kicked off at GRAND PACIFIC LE DAIBA in Tokyo yesterday, with the opening party held in the evening on the 29th floor of the hotel.
The three-day multi-content market, featuring film, music and animation, is held annually prior to Tokyo International Film Festival, running from October 20 to October 22 this year. It presents an opportunity for buyers and a wide variety of content holders from various industries – film, television, music, animation – to gather together and negotiate exciting new business opportunities. Influential buyers from throughout Asia and around the globe are in attendance, and the atmosphere is vibrant.
Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia have a booth once again this year (located at c-10), and we are here representing short film in all its glory, with a focus on promoting Japanese shorts in particular. Over the last two days we have met some great individuals and made some exciting new connections, so please watch this space.
