SSFF & ASIA OSAKA 2015 Report
Happy Siliver Week!
During the long holidays in Japan, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia Osaka 2015 is held at Knowledge Capital of Grand Front Osaka.
As a kick-off event, SSFF & ASIA president, Tetsuya Bessho welcomed Rika Adachi and had a special talk event.
Adachi stars in “Don’t give us bouquet!”, which inspired by May J.’s ‘Love is tough’, and this special short film was also screened in this event, along with “Hollywood Portfolio” which stars in British famous actors and Grand Prix winner “Cloudy Children” from Iran. Bessho talked that this opportunity to watch short films from Asia countries makes people to re-discover Asia in a new perspective. Adachi also talked about her own view on love, after watching together her film, “Don’t give us bouquet!” This Adachi’s film will be screened at Maestro & Celebrity Short Film Program on 20th and 21st, along with other short films.
Line-up of the screening is included winning shorts of this year, “Cloudy Children”, the Grand Prix, “Bendito Machine V-Pull the Trigger” winner of CG Competition, “Gotham Jumble Parfait” winner of Audience Award, “A Warm Spell” winner of Best Actor Award, “camouflage” winner of Best Actress Award of Japan Competition and so on.
As a Special guest, Toshimichi Saito, director of “A Warm Spell”, Yuki Saito, director of “Gotham Jumble Parfait”, also Koki Shinozaki, who stars in this film, and Daishi Kato, the director of “camouflage” joined this event and told in depth about each film.
Also we collaborated with a magazine SAVVY, we offer breakfast for limited number of the audience for the first program in each day. Today, people received croissant from DEAN & DELUCA. Why don’t you enjoy this new style of watching a film?
