A piece of writing that depicts the hopes and dreams of its child author will become the basis of a short film! Calling for works to cheer up Tohoku: “Watashitachi no furusato, 10 nen saki no monogatari”

With the aim of encouraging a healthy and happy future for the children of the three prefectures affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami, and spreading this view throughout Japan, we have launched the “Short Film Writing Project” across Tohoku. The project will turn a piece of writing that depicts its child author’s hopes and dreams for the future of Tohoku into a short film! Applicants must live in, of have lived previously in, Iwate Prefecture, Miyage Prefecture or Fukushima Prefecture.
