One of the highlight of the SSFF, Canon Workshop took place at Brillia Short Shorts Theater today.
First, “Yukkina” directed by Seiki Watanabe and “Heaven’s island” directed by Naoko Tajima, both were shot with two EOS 7D cameras, were screened and the films introduced the new visual world to the audience. Joined with two directors, DP of “Yukkina”, Shyuji Momose discussed on the performance of the camera, visual quality, and tips on shooting and gave us very interesting episode during making films.
Later, we viewed the effect on shooting an actual PV by using an example of music video shot with Canon X series F305.
The photographer of the music video, Mr. Takamasa Tamura from Denpoudo explained the ability of this new product and how to produce.
At the theatre, film makers and wannabes filled up the seats and listening to the talk session intensely.
We came to the era of shooting the film with cameras…Someday in the future, we may shoot films with high defined mobile phones!
