Thurs 06/17 - 17:40: Asia International & Japan - F. Another great turnout.

Seuk-hwan Kim,
director of the fine
& twisted
"His Name Is Trevor"

Well it's really kicking in now. The guest filmmakers have all arrived from all points & the audiences are coming in in droves with Q's & A's flying all over the place. Excellent. For this prog, Seuk-hwan Kim brought "His Name Is Trevor," a short right out of the Twilight Zone about a disfigured young man who has to leave his house when he runs out of food only to discover that... uh-uh, I'm not giving it out. Please find out for yourself. he told the audience that he came up with the idea while hanging @ Starbucks!

Alfonso Torre of "Bonsai" let us in on the fact that the actor playing the lead was a well-known director in the Philippines. If you guys get a chance to see this via download, pay for it of course, or any other way, don't miss it. "Bonsai" is excellent! Finally, Yo Kohatsu brought his cinematographer, Roland Kirishima and his lead actress, the lovely Hana Ebise. All had lots to say and especially informative was Yo letting on that that they had only a week to make the film and 1 day to shoot on a new RED camera. Sure turned out great. I'm out.
