As the speaker of this seminar, we will be welcoming creative director Yoshimitsu Sawamoto, who has worked on a great many nationally recognised TV commercials, including the “White Family” series of commercials for SoftBank, “Gas, Pa, Cho!” commercials for Tokyo Gas and the “Heidi” commercials for the home tutoring company, Try.
Accompanying a screening of the commercials he has produced up until now, Sawamoto will be talking about the future of TV commercials, and the potential of branded movies in the age of social media. Whether you’re the person responsible for your company’s advertising, publicity and marketing, a creative director for an advertising agency or production company, or anybody else interested in video marketing, we hope you can attend.
What is “Branded Shorts”?
At SSFF & ASIA, we have recognised the increase in the production of branded movies used by businesses and government bodies to convey their brand messages in video format, as well as the expansion of the market for video marketing in Japan in 2016, so we have launched the new “Branded Shorts” project with the aim of establishing Japan as the base for broadcasting branded movies throughout Asia. Looking to stimulate video marketing across the whole of Japan, we will be introducing the latest branded movies from Japan and overseas, organising conferences, seminars and events and establishing our position as Japan’s only international advertising festival.
