What a fun, successful, and enjoyable Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2009 it was!!!
Well, here we are, the final day of our 9-day festival. For the last day of competition screening, director Kei Ishikawa attended the screening of Asia International & Japan program E and attended the Q&A for his film "It's All in the Fingers."
This extremely funny short is a Japan-Poland co-production. Kei had gone to film school in Poland. When asked about the red-thonged workman in the film, he told us that the man was a male stripper that he has befriended there. He also revealed that there was an adult driver hidden in the car in the over-head shot of the young child getting into the family car alone & driving off.
Unexpected support & cooperation and using any and every trick in the book. How To Make A Short Film 101!
