A-Jie, an ex-con trying to turn over a new leaf, is working at a dry cleaner's with Hsiao-Chih, a young disabled woman, and her abusive uncle. The two have lived lives with so little freedom, yet they can't help yearning for more...is the world willing to give it to them?

Born in 1985 in Malaysia, Sam Quah is currently a graduate student in the Directing Program at the Department of Filmmaking of Taipei National University of the Arts. His first short film "Sandwich" was granted the Gold Award of City’s Wonderland Bureau of Audiovisual in Taiwan. His latest short film "The Free Man" was the winner of the S.O.S. Award at Kaohsiung Film Festival.
