A few decades ago it seemed that Yanagawa was a city destined to die out. Nowadays, it is coming back to life. This is a story of the conflict of one young lady, who searches out bonds and pursues her own path.

Yanagawa is located in the south part of Fukuoka Prefecture, well known as a riverside district popular for tourism. It is a castle town with 960km of canals running across it. One downstream canal was designated as a place of scenic beauty of the nation in 2015.

Specialties include steamed eels and seaweeds of Ariake Sea.
