Once a child actress, Momoko, now a young woman, tries once more to prove herself. However, at an audition, her past comes back to haunt her and she fails miserably. Can Momoko overcome her past to finally taste success?

Born in 1993 in the Hiroshima Prefecture, Ryoichi Hiraiwa is currently a student at the Tokyo Film Center School of Arts. "The First Cry" is his directorial debut film.

Born in Kobe, Kenichi Kitagawa made his debut as a vocalist for the band Road of Major in 2002. The 2003 single, 'Taisetsu na mono', was a platinum hit. Since the breakup of his band, he has worked as a solo artist.
