The world, in a never-ending interplay of eating and being eaten, takes on new dimensions when the unexpected forces of nature clash with the existing structures of our society. What was believed to be forever melts away over the course of time. The only constant is change.

Roman Kaelin (Einsiedeln, Switzerland), Falko Paeper (1983, Berlin) and Florian Wittmann (1980, Deggendorf, Germany) studied Animation and Effects at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany. Their film a.maize was the trailer and branding for the FMX (Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia) in 2011. Wrapped is their graduation film.
