SHORT SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL & ASIA 2015

Short Short Film Festival & Asia 2015 has started!

After holding a great opening ceremony, we had a special screening and introduction with the cast of “Like a Families (Kazokugokko)”; a movie which consists of 5 bizarre short episodes that revolve around unique families.

Director Uchida Eiji and Hanta Kinoshita, and the actors of the short, Takumi Saito, Mayu Tsuruta, Yutaka Kobayashi, Mone Sakuragi, Taro Yabe, Houka Kinoshita, and Yuko Araki, greeted the audience.

They shared the stories of why two directors decided to make the film together, and Takumi Saito, not only as an actor in the short, did his own costuming. Although it was Mone Sakuragi’s first time to act, she showed the passion to keep on acting. Yuko Araki talked about when she was auditioned and how she got a role, and Director Uchida offered Mayu Tsuruta to act again in his next film.
Houka Kinoshita, which shared the fact that Taro Yabe lives very close, teased him a lot, and made the audience laugh throughout the greeting.

Yes, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2015 has started!

From tomorrow, we will be sharing 200 shorts which are chosen from 5000, over more than 100 countries and regions.
We are looking forward to see you all in Tokyo and Yokohama!
