Our evening screening of International Program G was attended by filmmaker Noa Gusakov from Israel whose short “Lookout” is about a young woman who has conscripted into the Army & works as a lookout monitoring enemy movements through a video screen to alert their troops of any possible attacks or intruders. It’s a shattering film about the effect of war & violence on young people no matter of what country. She told the audience that she also served her two mandatory years in the Army & drew from her experiences there. Thanks Noa!
