Yukinori Makabe
He was born in Tokyo prefecture in 1984. He won the Grand-prix at the 2012 Louis Vuitton Journeys Awards with his short film “The Sun and The Moon”. His first feature film “I Am a Monk” was released in 2015 and screened at many international film festivals. Released in 2021,“Love, Life and Goldfish” is his first musical film. The film was screened at Fantasia, Glasgow Film Festival and elsewhere, and continues to be screened at international film festivals. Currently, he has several international co-production projects underway.
