Deep blue

Yukiko reluctantly returns home with her son Haruki for the 13th anniversary of her mother's death. Her family makes traditional hand-dyed cloth so her father and brother's hands are a deep blue color. At first her parents aren't very welcoming or receptive and she begins to regret returning home.

Kazuhito Nakae

Born in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, he graduated from Musashino Art University in 2005 and has worked as a commercial director on numerous commercials as well as directing and writing screenplays for films. In 2018 he released his first feature film, "Uso wo Aisuru Onna”. In 2019, he directed the TV drama "Kinou Nani Tabeta?” and won the Grand Prix at the 57th Galaxy Awards, My Best TV Awards, as well as numerous other awards. In recent years, he has been getting more recognition with the much-talked-about TV drama "Omameda Towako and her Three Ex-Husbands" (2021), which he directed.
